Part 2- Why the Global Maritime Industry Often has a Negative Public Image- Invisibility
This is the 2nd installment in a 6-part series in which Dr. Cartner is analyzing why the global maritime industry often suffers from a negative public image.
In this program Dr. Cartner addresses the “invisibility” of the maritime industry to the mainstream population. Dr. Cartner says this exists because so much of the economy is dependent upon the international trade that predominantly relies on the maritime sector, which runs so smoothly. He draws an analogy to the power grid which never gets noticed until there is a black-out.
At the conclusion of this series, Maritime TV will discuss the initiation of an innovative campaign to address this mainstream public relations issue head-on.
