In this fifth video program in the Cyber-Skilled Mariner Series, Mr. Turissini and Maritime TV’s Dave Gardy discuss the cybersecurity considerations involved with associated with Port Operations and Vessel Interface. In addition, this program features an interview with Cyber Intelligence Expert and former Naval Intelligence Officer Terry Roberts, Founder and CEO of Whitehawk, Inc.

Maritime TV Internet TV Cyber-Skilled Mariner Series in Cooperation with MITAGS

Maritime TV, along with Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies (MITAGS) announced a joint effort to create a Maritime Operations Cybersecurity Training Curriculum. Initially, eight free 20-minute “Cyber-Skilled Mariner” Internet TV Programs will be featured on Maritime TV at this event series site starting in October, 2018, targeted to students at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, State Maritime Academies, Maritime Union Schools and professionals in the maritime industry. Maritime TV is producing this series with cybersecurity expert Dan Turissini, KP ’81.
