In this 153rd edition in the series, Clay reviews the IMO MEPC 73 decision banning fuels aboard ship with Sulphur content greater .5% by 2020, the paradox it sets up for global warming (since Sulphur Dioxide in the atmosphere condenses to sulphate aerosols that actually reflect the sunlight, cooling the earth), and the implications for the world maritime industry with the future competition for this higher grade fuel.
