Please join us for this special Maritime TV Presentation which will air on Friday , July 8, 2016 at 4:00 PM and feature interviews with women graduates from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, the first federal service academy to admit women in 1974. The discussion will highlight Sea Year experience of these women while at Kings Point and how it prepared them for their subsequent career path in the maritime industry. Representing Kings Point classes from 1978 to 2015, the perspectives these women will offer are sure to be enlightening and relevant to the current industry discussion surrounding the Sea Year experience
