The third interview in a new series featuring Clay Maitland, Managing Partner, International Registries, Inc., and Founding Chairman of NAMEPA, entitled, ‘Mondays with Maitland’. The program tackles issues of the day throughout the international maritime industry beginning with several interviews on ‘Rethinking Safety at Sea’. In this third interview in the series, Maitland discusses how contemporary pollution and other liability arrangements are getting away from “channeling” of liability to one particular party effectively broadening the umbrella of accountability for cargo operations to enhance quality.
