The inaugural interview in a new series featuring Clay Maitland, Managing Partner, International Registries, Inc., and Founding Chairman of NAMEPA, entitled, ‘Mondays with Maitland’. The program will tackle issues of the day throughout the international maritime industry beginning with several interviews on ‘Rethinking Safety at Sea’. In this initial interview in the series, Maitland discusses how all maritime industry sectors need to get more adequate information on quality regarding vessel structural integrity, shipboard equipment/system flaws and the need to develop methods for disseminating that information.
