In this 21st interview in the series, Clay Maitland, back from his voyage aboard the M/V Midnight Sun on a Totem Ocean coastwise run to Alaska where he was accompanied by NAMEPA co-founder Carleen Lyden-Kluss, gives his insight on the impressive vessel, its efficient cargo operations and the professionalism of the crew. In addition, he offers a unique perspective on the marine environmental and maritime education strategy for Alaska, where he also met with the state’s two U.S Senators and Congressman.
