in Web Coverage of Ship Operations Cooperative Program (SOCP)Meetings.

This
live web coverage of the Ship Operations Cooperative Program (SOCP)
meeting will be held on October 16-17 at the Sheraton Norfolk
Waterside, Norfolk, VA. The meeting is a follow-up to the
May 23-24, 2001 Maritime Careers conference held at Kings Point.
The meeting will be dedicated to discussing and working manpower
and retention issues; therefore technical presentations will be
kept to a minimum. Speakers will be able to communicate with colleagues
in the industry who could not attend in person via a live, interactive
video webcast.
