Positive Response from Past Meeting Webcasts Continues to Generate Interest in Web Coverage of Ship Operations Cooperative Program (SOCP)Meetings.
 
Past Event Sponsors Include CSX Lines, Houston Marine Training Services, Reliacast, California Maritime Academy Continuing Education Program, Maersk, NOAA, MARAD

This live web coverage of the Ship Operations Cooperative Program (SOCP) meeting will be held on October 16-17 at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside, Norfolk, VA.  The meeting is a follow-up to the May 23-24, 2001 Maritime Careers conference held at Kings Point. The meeting will be dedicated to discussing and working manpower and retention issues; therefore technical presentations will be kept to a minimum. Speakers will be able to communicate with colleagues in the industry who could not attend in person via a live, interactive video webcast.
