September 26, 2013 On World Maritime Day, September 26, 2013, Maritime TV launched the inaugural edition of a new Internet TV program series entitled the Maritime TV Seafarer Criminalization Bulletin to highlight the abuse of Law, including lack of due process and other abuses for seafarers who face criminal charges in jails, worldwide. From excessive detention, in inhumane conditions, without hearing or trial to denial of the rights of habeas corpus this Maritime TV series goes in depth with very moving profiles to shed light, update and inform the international maritime community about specific cases where seafarers are being treated unjustly.
