Maritime TV is pleased to release a ‘Jones Act Discussion’ recently produced via Zoom and anchored from Maritime TV studios near Washington D.C.

The lively conversation featured ‘Pro-Jones Act’ viewpoints from Dr. Sal Mercogliano, Associate Professor of History at Campbell University and Clay Maitland, Chairman of the Merchant Marine Policy Coalition.

‘Anti-Jones Act’ viewpoints were delivered by Rob Quartel, Executive Chairman, NTELX and Former US Federal Maritime Commissioner and Colin Grabow, Policy Analyst at the Cato Institute.

The discussion featured topics mutually selected by both sides. In the interest of full disclosure, Maritime TV is a Pro-Jones Act media outlet, but for the purposes of this discussion, served as a neutral moderator.
