In this 115th edition in the series, recorded on the day before TradeWinds was to convene its Jones Act Shipping Forum, Sept. 28 in Washington D.C., (where Clay spoke), and during a week where the Jones Act was under attack in national editorials, Clay continued to offer his perspective on formulating and implementing a real policy for supporting the U.S. flag Merchant Marine with more detailed concepts. It should be noted that President Trump suspended the Jones Act for Puerto Rico the day following this recording of Clay’s interview.
