We are pleased to feature another interview in the Maritime TV video series featuring Clay Maitland, Managing Partner, International Registries, Inc., and Chairman of the Merchant Marine Policy Coalition (MMPC), entitled Mondays with Maitland. The program series addresses issues of the day throughout the international maritime industry. In this 44th interview in the series, Clay addresses the short cuts that are being taken with regards to ship construction, operation, maintenance and training due to a continuing maritime industry recession and how these short cuts are affecting safety, especially as it pertains to the human element.
