2020 CAMM Professional Development Conference at Port Canaveral

0730-0830:  Early Morning Coffee, with sweet rolls, fruit, snacks

 

0830:  Attendees take their seats and Conference opens with Presentation of Colors and Pledge of Allegiance (by Capt. Manny Aschemeyer).  

0840:  Capt. Jeff Cowan (CAMM National President) opens conference and welcomes all to this year’s Professional Development Conference and its exciting theme:

           “Applying Tomorrow’s Technology to Todays’ Maritime Industry” .  Offers thanks to all the sponsors for their support – and especially Port Canaveral

            as our “Platinum Sponsor”!

0845:  Capt. Cowan introduces Capt. John Murray, CEO at Canaveral Port Authority, to offer his welcoming comments.

 

0855:  Capt. Cowan introduces Conf. Planning Comm. Co-Chairs (Captains Grimison and Aschemeyer), to Manage and Moderate the Presentations.

 

0900:   Co-Chairs introduce Capt. Kip Louttit, USCG-Ret. (Executive Director for the Marine Exchange of SoCal & VTS for LA/LB Harbor)

            Topic: “Tomorrow’s VTS Today – More Than Just ‘Traffic Control’ “

1545:  Capt. Cowan adjourns PDC with thanks to ALL the sponsors, speakers, panelists and attendees – reminds all that this evening’s “social event”

            will get underway promptly at (time TBA) with bus ride to port.

 

1800 – 2100:  Port Canaveral Reception and Dinner, plus Harbor Cruise (with dessert)
